IT Front End Development (m/f/d)
Pakajo is an award-winning comparison and shipping portal and winner of the German Excellence Award as Digital Startup Champion. We are leaders in our industry and are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sales Manager who will passionately support our sales team and further increase our sales.
Join us in making pakajo.world the largest shipping portal in the world. A team of young shipping experts and software developers awaits you at pakajo. With our comparison portal for shipping conditions, our target group is the eCommerce trade. Our software allows our customers to compare prices for their international orders from over 60,000 different shipping rates and book the best deal for orders.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Design and development of an appealing, user-friendly and high-performance user interface for our AI-supported comparison and shipping portal
• Implementation of new features and functionalities based on PHP and Javascript
• Integration of AI technologies into the front-end architecture
• Ensuring the optimal display of the portal on various devices
• Close collaboration with our development team and designers to realize innovative solutions
• Optimizing the web application for high speed and user experience
• Work closely with internal departments such as marketing and product development to meet customer expectations and optimize product offerings.
Requirements:
• Completed studies or comparable training in the field of computer science, media information technology or a related discipline
• Sound knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js
• Enthusiasm for innovative technologies and interest in AI applications
• Good understanding of responsive web design and UX optimization
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and agile development methods
• Creativity, initiative and the ability to overcome technical challenges
• Team spirit and good communication skills
Desirable additional qualifications:
• Knowledge of working with AI technologies and machine learning frameworks
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of using CSS preprocessing tools such as Sass or Less
• Experience working with build tools such as Webpack or Gulp
