You have various options to send your packages to Spain. pakajo offers you a variety of shipping options. You can choose between different postal services, with and without insurance, the classic parcel services and the pakajo Parcel Service in Spain. Pakajo has its own parcel delivery service for all of Spain, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands and Portugal. Please note that a telephone number is necessary and useful for many shipping services to Spain. Many drivers call their customers before delivery because the regions are not well signposted and the routes are long through many mountainous landscapes. At pakajo it is also important to provide your email address. Every customer receives proof of delivery from pakajo, indicating whether their shipment has been delivered or is ready for collection at a post office or parcel shop. This significantly reduces complaints.

Possible parcel senders to Spain are DHL, DPD (SEUR in Spain), GLS and UPS. Pakajo offers all senders in its comparison and shipping portal.

As a rule, you can choose package sizes up to a circumference of 300 cm and a weight of 31.5 kg. The sizes and weights don't differ much. Likewise, shipments are usually insured up to €500 or more. GLS up to 750 €.

You can also send UPS shipments up to 70 kg. However, surcharges must be taken into account here. Since it is not possible to deliver to your front door in some regions, parcels may be left at parcel drop-off points. In any case, the customer receives a notification from pakajo and usually also from the shipping service.

Pakajo has its own logistics to Spain and Portugal. The shipping service is with full tracking, insured up to €500. The maximum weight is 30 kg. You can send your package with a maximum size of 1500 x 1500 x 1500 mm for just €4.15. The packages are handled in our own shipping center in Alicante and then handed over for delivery.

The delivery time from Germany is approx. 5 days.

Alternatively, you can also send your shipments via postal services. Pakajo has, among others, Deutsche Post, Post Netherlands, Belgian Post and Austrian Post as shipping partners. to Spain. The following shipping rules apply to the postal services:

• Belgian Post up to 2,000g, with tracking, maximum size 300 x 300 x 300 mm, longest side 600mm.
• Deutsche Post up to 2,000g, with tracking, insured up to €100, maximum size 300 x 300 x 300 mm, longest side 600mm.
• Post Netherlands, up to 20kg, with tracking, insured up to €200, maximum size 300 x 300 x 300 mm, longest side 600mm.
• Austrian Post up to 2,000g, with tracking, maximum size 300 x 300 x 300 mm, longest side 600mm.

Use sturdy boxes or shipping containers that can safely hold the contents. Make sure the boxes are in good condition and have no damage or labels from previous shipments. Fill the space within the box with suitable cushioning material such as bubble wrap, packing chips or padded inserts. The cushioning material protects the goods from impact and reduces the risk of damage during transport. If you are shipping multiple items, pack them individually before placing them in the shipping box. This prevents them from bumping into each other and becoming damaged during transport. Make sure the box is properly sealed to prevent accidental opening during shipping. Use high-quality packaging tape and thoroughly seal all openings and seams in the box.

The delivery time for shipments to Spain varies and depends on the region in which the shipments have to be delivered. Island deliveries should generally be calculated with an additional 2 days.

The pakajo tracking number "UPG-123456" is generated when the shipment is created. At that moment, the customer receives a processing confirmation that their shipment is now being prepared for shipping. With the UPG number, the customer can immediately track their shipment via the pakajo tracking page. Even for shipments without tracking, the customer receives a processing and shipping confirmation.

As soon as the shipment has arrived at a pakajo shipping center, the shipment is confirmed in the pakajo system and receives a 9-digit "113456789" number.

Now the nine-digit number is married to the UPG number and all the necessary shipping information for the sender and the recipient is added to the shipment. The recipient now knows that his shipment is on the way to him

When the shipment is processed, the final tracking number of the shipping service is now added to the shipment. The number often begins with LY or 0034, but this depends on the shipping service. As soon as the shipment has been recorded by the shipping service, a blue button from the postal and parcel service appears in the shipment tracking.

You can also track your pakajo shipments at aftership. You can find pakajo as a shipping service in the aftership portal. The aftership app also offers very good shipment tracking, which informs you of every current shipping status. At aftership you can enter your pakajo tracking numbers as follows and track your shipments: UPG-123456 / UPG123456 or 123456. Of course, you can also track your shipments using the final tracking numbers of the respective shipping providers, such as Deutsche Post, DHL, DPD, Post NL, bpost and many others track.

NOTE: pakajo sends its customers a delivery e-mail that the shipment has been delivered or is ready for collection at the parcel store!

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR SHIPPING TO SPAIN

CUSTOMS DECLARATION

The free movement of goods within the EU also includes postal items. For this reason, special formalities only need to be observed in exceptional cases when sending letters, small parcels and packages. In general, consignments of goods can therefore be sent within the EU without further customs formalities or export declarations. Therefore, no further documents such as customs declarations etc. are required.

COMMERCIAL INVOICE

In addition, when shipping using parcel services such as UPS or DHL, you will need a commercial invoice in English, for example if you are delivering shipments to the Canary Islands. It informs the customs officials about your goods, the entire shipping process and you as the sender. Please attach the commercial invoice to the outside of your package in a shipping bag. The commercial invoice must be attached to the package in triplicate.

TIP: To be on the safe side, also include a commercial invoice in the package.

Although many customs regulations are now regulated uniformly across the EU, national regulations regarding the collection of excise duties apply in the individual member states. The excise tax applies in particular to luxury goods such as tobacco, alcohol or coffee and is payable by the recipient if these goods are received by post. However, the exact amount of taxes and customs fees to be paid depends on the regulations of the member state in which the postal item is received.

CUSTOMS FORM FOR SPAIN

No further customs forms are required for shipping to SPAIN.

Exception: Ceuta and Melilla (postal code areas 51xxx and 52xxx) as well as the Canary Islands (postal code areas 35xxx and 38xxx) for which a CN 22/23 customs declaration is required as they do not belong to the EU.)

Exceptional areas belong to the territory of an EU country, but not to the customs territory of the European Union or are areas that are considered third country areas within the meaning of sales tax law. This means that all shipments to this area must be accompanied by a commercial invoice detailing the package contents and value of the goods.

HOW MUCH CUSTOMS DUTY DO I HAVE TO PAY WHEN SHIPPING TO THE SPAIN?

The shipment of gifts to SPAIN is generally duty-free, as the goods are shipped within the EU.

Exception: Ceuta and Melilla (zip code areas 51xxx and 52xxx) and the Canary Islands (zip code areas 35xxx and 38xxx) for which a CN 22/23 customs declaration is required as they do not belong to the EU). Gift shipments from private individuals to private recipients with a value of up to EUR 45 are duty-free. Duties are levied on consignments exceeding this value. Gift shipments must be accompanied by a pro-forma invoice with a detailed product description and the value of the gift. Please attach this in triplicate to the outside of the parcel in a plastic sleeve and place a copy inside the parcel.

As an online retailer, you have an important responsibility when shipping to SPAIN. It is therefore essential that you carefully check the contents of your parcel, as some goods are excluded from shipping to SPAIN both by the shipping service providers and by the applicable customs regulations.

To give you an initial overview, we have compiled a list of some of the goods that are not permitted for shipping to SPAIN or are subject to special regulations or permits:

• Narcotics: cannot be sent by post.
• Dual-use goods, which can be used in both the civil and military sectors, are subject to restrictions when sent, including via the Internet (e.g. email), within the EU.
• Cultural assets such as art objects, antiques, etc.: The cultural asset protection regulations must be adhered to.
• Explosive substances are subject to the special shipping and transport regulations of dangerous goods law.
• Weapons and ammunition: Further details are regulated by the Weapons Act.

Important: The respective laws and customs regulations of the recipient country must be observed, especially when it comes to products and topics from the areas of eroticism, pornography, sexuality and/or religion or criticism of religion.

Dangerous goods

Letters that do not comply with the conditions set out in the Universal Postal Treaty and the Supplementary Provisions, that do not comply with the conditions set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Letter International and that are sent in support of fraudulent activities or with the intention of demanding full payment of the relevant fees are excluded from postal transport to circumvent.

The following items may not be shipped:

Narcotics and intoxicants and psychotropic substances, as defined by the International Narcotics Board, or other illegal drugs prohibited in the country of destination;

explosive, highly flammable or radioactive substances, medical examination items and dangerous goods that are not permitted under the Brief International General Terms and Conditions.

Also excluded from postal transport are:

obscene or immoral items;

counterfeit and pirated items;

replica explosive devices, inert explosive devices and military materials, including replica grenades, inactive hand grenades and similar items;

live animals with the exception of: bees, leeches and silkworms (but not in valuables); parasitism and destruction of harmful insects, which are intended to be kept under control by these insects and which are exchanged between officially recognized bodies (but not in valuable consignments); flies of the Drosophilidae family exchanged between officially recognized institutions for the purpose of biological research (but not in valuables);

other items whose import or distribution is prohibited in the country of destination;

Items that, due to their nature or packaging, pose a danger to postal employees and the public or that may contaminate or damage other shipments, postal facilities or the property of third parties;

Documents of the nature of a current and personal communication which are exchanged between persons other than the sender and the recipient or persons living with them;

Bearer papers of any kind, traveler's checks, platinum, gold or silver in processed or unprocessed form as well as jewels, jewelry and other valuables.

Exceptions: These items may be sent in valuables or, if the national legislation of the country of origin and destination does not conflict with this, in a sealed envelope by registered mail.

Consignments containing weapons, in particular firearms, or parts thereof, imitation weapons or ammunition.
